Decapitation

Fifty to one hundred nuclear bombs could render unable

a superpower to make or enact an intelligent plan

to respond in kind to such an assault.

This is known at the top as Decapitation.

One problem with this lies in war termination:

having nobody to talk to,

having negotiations stall

by their being delivered to nothing.

Another shortcoming of this approach

is the consequent spasm attending death

of the superpower decapitated.

It is irritating and incredibly foul,

and you’re bound to get quite a bit on you.
