Sneezes

What an uplifting gift the sneeze is!

It probably pleasured Jesus.

Drunk, half asleep,

I sneezéd so deep

It was much like repeated marriage:

Twice it couldn’t be helped.

Here is the note I wrote on a Visa transaction slip in the first place. It may be more poetic, being natural.

What a neat thing a sneeze is!

I am drunk and half asleep

and yet I sneezed--

Twice, as if once were not enough,

like marriage

By God! It is wonderful!
