Peace Broke Out

Peace broke out in The Middle East

and they’re trying to decide what to do about it.

Famous religions are headquartered there

and working to process the news.

If possible it will be undone.

It was totally unexpected, you know,

despite being sought for months.

However, that’s only part of the problem.

More serious by far is the matter of villains,

known to be out there in large numbers.

The obvious solution is murder:

If you don’t kill them, they’ll still be around.

So when this news hit like a slap in the face,

or a kick in the ass and a punch in the guts,

people were bound to confront God, asking:

What in Hell is the meaning of this?
