I’m a big lover of carpets and rugs,

weavings woven for comfort or art.

Weavers can tell if the work was worth it.

Their product is; so may weavers be rich.

I can tell how good weavings feel,

very: the heft, the depth, the wool,

The shelter they offer from all below,

or outside, if they hang on a door,

And the lift they give if put on a wall,

where they hang for show.

Arabs know this, as do Persians.
