Hummingbird Threat

A hummingbird threatened another's life,

chasing him over the whole back yard.

God he was angry! What a mean little shit!

Yet we must wonder: Did that bird have it coming?

And would we have acted the same in his place? 

Moreover, are we  and do we alike?

What is our whole back yard but the world?

And just because we have nuclear bombs,

does that make us significant?

We are a lot like excited hummers.

And if we catch up to our selves and kill them,

God's gonna say: Small beer.
