Sketch (Sale at Argentia Naval Base)

Staying home from the big sale at the U.S. Naval Base in Argentia, Monroe misses out on industrial blowers, fluorescent fixtures, a variety of bedroom furniture and two dentist’s chairs. He does not obtain: 2165 pounds of scrap copper flashing, 18 sheets of corrugated aluminum siding, one Canata tape recorder, 4 IBM typewriters and various manual models. He doesn’t get a microwave oven, 635 feet of wire rope, four electric cooking ranges, eleven refrigerators, tool boxes with stands and miscellaneous tools or one 1973 Jeep. He goes without parts for TV sets, a small quantity of kitchen utensils, 33 bookshelves, uncertain number of file cabinets and one large yacht. Left over from previous sale but now also lost to him in this are: three pairs of boxing gloves, heavy bag, large canvas tarp, crochet equipment (never used) and much more, unspecified. He could have made the most of it but now it is too late to save anything but the idea.
