Countries Without Borders

The Europeans can teach us something:

International cooperation;

Instead of conflicts and wars unending,

A diminished sovereignty of nations.

Countries with more porous borders fulfill

A condition required for Life, Yin,

Which is needed to counter the Yang ill

Of ugly, unwholesome competition.

In Europe the public has confidence

In its safety from uglier natures,

Having agreed that it makes no sense

To simply destroy all weaker creatures.

In principle, everyone owns the place,

As might well, one day, the whole human race.
