On Being Jewish

I just got my 23 & Me.

It says I’m pretty Irish and English,

2.5 % Scandinavian,

and 0.2 % Ashkenazi Jew.

I knew I had long had a mean streak.

Also, I really like chicken soup.

I drive a car 35 years old

and shop at GoodWill when I drop things off.

A lot of things are falling in place.

However, I’m not getting circumcised.

You have to draw the line somewhere.
